This week has seen major improvements in the usability and readability of the Dharma.direct website… A few more contextualized highlights help to quickly see what's new, or what has changed, since your previous visit. The 'search' feature will definitely help, once more content gets in. The site also better informs you when you miss something because you forgot to log in (and are therefore seeing the 'public' view). Finally, a variety of small tweaks in the interface makes the site more intuitive, and faster, to use. The theme for issue #2 tentatively is «Distractions». How does this sound? Super important, final update: please read! ———————————————————————— A few months ago, right after Google announced the closure of google+, I triggered several polls regarding the future of this community. It seems obvious google+ is crumbling down "as we speak" (with features being phased out prior April 2nd, the official end date), so I might not be able to make future announcements on this platform, hence please continue reading! A majority of members voted for the creation of our own platform, instead of letting the community scatter to the wind — https://plus.google.com/+DenisWallez/posts/Z5htcvs5hi8 a large majority of members voted against deleting the "Buddhism and Meditation" community before the end of g+ itself — https://plus.google.com/+DenisWallez/posts/6hVoDK331vx — which has the benefit of giving us significant time to create our own platform, and, conditional to who the authors are, a majority of members would consider subscribing ...
