What is our alternative?

I have been posting on Google+ since it started. It has been a great alternative to Facebook, and has been vidal in keeping in touch with my family as I travel the world. I am dissapointed that even though we make billions for Google, they cannot let us have something we really like just because it doesn't make millions a month for them. They are greedy and do not deserve the loyalty we have given them.
