Since the end of last week, I have been sent e-mail notifications about sites I enjoyed using being shut down. Google is screwing over their loyal users as usual, AGAIN by tossing us off April 2nd. To make matters worse, the Anime forum for RightStuf Anime, also known as AnimeNation could possibly be shut down soon. If you know any Anime voice actors and if any of them happen to still use Google Plus, #HelpSaveRightStufAnimesAnimeNationForum! Let me just say, that I'm not that worried about privacy as everyone else.

However, I am more concerned about being on a social media site, that doesn't clog up my news feed with selfies, politics, religion, fundraisers, friend requests, invitations for every little thing known to man, etc. Before getting online to do much of anything I want or need, I have a disabled mother to take care of. Her neediness throughout the day occupies a lot of time. We never know when she may need to be rushed to the hospital for a medical emergency. Besides dealing with her health problems and chores, while trying to submit my short stories for reviews and publishing, trying to find adult readers 18 and older, who love music, animation, folklores, and Horror-related content has been a massive struggle. The indifference I have dealt with over the last 5 years or so online seems to have gotten worse over time. Nobody wants to talk...

So, it has been almost 2 months, since the time of migrating to MeWe.

So, it has been almost 2 months, since the time of migrating to MeWe. There are some decent people on the site. However, there are those from Google Plus on MeWe, that have massive egos. When saying that, I noticed that it tends to be some of the self-published authors, who don't want to help support other authors. They believe that visiting another blogger/writer's website and blogs is "stealing traffic" from their group pages. Mind you, some of these same authors I speak of know NOTHING about font style or how to read a blog on Blogger. Yes, these people speak English. Judging from their appearance, they seem to be mostly self-published authors in their 50's and older, who are not tech savvy. I'm in my mid-30's and I'm not the most tech savvy either, but I know how to navigate a website and how to read a blog. Because they're too incompetent, they want to patronize me about how to arrange my Blogger page, that they DON'T want to visit anyway ...

30 minutes or so ago on my local news, I heard that Google Plus is shutting down. I legitimately hate most social media sites. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest don't resonate with me or the blogs, that I share. Currently, my website, It's Not All Gumdrops & Unicorns has yet to be fixed. However, my newest Blogger is still up. Because of my busy offline schedule, I haven't been blogging as much this year.
