Another service biting the dust because of GPlus shutdown Desktop Notifications , a browser plugin / Android app for sharing notifications among multiple Android devices and desktop browsers, is also shutting down, in part due to the Google Plus shutdown. The app started as a research project at the Human Computer Interaction group ( http://www.hcilab.org ) at the University of Stuttgart (Germany) , but soon became a project loved and used by many Android users.
