On Social Media

While saying #farewellgoogleplus here some boring thoughts of mine I've tried #mewe along with #pluspora 3 times and ended up deleting my accounts. I don't see point of this alternative social media thing on my way of using. I was using #googleplus because it was seo friendly and connected to my blogger and I didn't had #instagram back then. I've never had more than 900 followers and 5-10 likes on my best post in G+ ... I've never made any friends here or anything. At least in instagram my posts reach 40-50 people. In Twitter I have some interesting contacts like cast of Frasier and few great artists and at least in Facebook I have some family and arguable friends. What will I have on an alternative social media? In mewe there was already a semi naked girl who getting a lot of attention. Why people ever want a boring guy like me with landscape photos and renders? I think I'll let my G+ demise and don't sweat on a making everything from scratch in an alterna...

Is #PlusPora any good? I've tried once and then deleted my account... Different than #MeWe but seems like less developed.

I just noticed that the Instagram account of a friend of mine hacked - went to his FB profile and saw his update. It is true that instagram is NOT HELPING AT ALL during such a thing. I regret time and energy I've invested to instagram every time when I see such things.

Dear friends! I've tried pluspora, mewe, minds; tried to join openbook but they didnt even bother answering my beta request. I have no interest with openbook anymore since they seem too much elitist to my taste. And also ended up deleting my account on all the others mentioned. I dont think any of them offer anything like Google Plus did with seo friendly structure, collections, communities and blog integration. I see many friends here upset about this but please tell me honestly anyone of you really believed that we can save Google+ and make Google change their minds? It always sounded too naive to me since corporate goals are pretty clear on their end. ^_^

How About Blogger - I'm hoping that Goggle keeps Blogger because its the only thing that close to my website that I used to have which later had to close because of budget thing. http://keremgogus.blogspot.com/ Will demise of G+ affect image uploads to Blogger? They were sharing same spot when I looked at my image archive - I hope I'm wrong though. I'm posting and keep "diary" of my work and my progress over years on my work since 2009 and having Blogger on really a big thing to me. Ended up deleting #MeWe and #Minds. None of those "alternative" social media environments are my cup of tea, obviously. I'll accept G+'s demise - even deleting my blogger I'm using since 2009. I have about.me/keremgo as my front page & probably build a simple blog on Wix when I have time.
