This explains how you can have a HubZilla identity and use more than one server so that your data are safe even if the server you registered first ceases to exist. Therefore HubZilla seems to be the best solution, although I have to admit that there are still very many features I haven't used it even understood. https://project.hubzilla.org/wiki/hubzilla/Feature%2BArticles/Nomadic%2Bidentity

I think Hubzilla is a good candidate.

I think Hubzilla is a good candidate. Friendica requires MariaDB/MySQL. As the database guy, I have to say: 100% fail (please no discussions, we've had them all), that disqualifies it. Hubzilla seems to be more open; Diaspora as well, but i said to be difficult. What else is there? It has to be a decentralised system in any case. https://medium.com/we-distribute/the-do-everything-system-an-in-depth-review-of-hubzilla-3-0-692204177d4e Have tried an account on a public server: https://start.hubzilla.org/channel/holger_jakobs_germany medium.com - Medium – a place to read and write big ideas and important stories https://medium.com/we-distribute/the-do-everything-system-an-in-depth-review-of-hubzilla-3-0-692204177d4e
