Google Plus is Closing Real Soon. MeWe and PASHPost are the Two Biggest Prospects

Google Plus is Closing Real Soon. MeWe and PASHPost are the Two Biggest Prospects And PASHpost is way more promising than MeWe. Edward Morbius shared a very cool review of PASHpost: https://plus.google.com/u/0/104092656004159577193/posts/WU8rdxtkREe Thank you, Edward. So why not? I decided to sign up and give it a try. And I'm glad I did. Long story short, PASHpost combines all the cool points we love about Google+. It's more than a simple replacement of Google Plus, it's a suped up version! Long story? They have: - Groups - communities the member belongs to - similar to Google+ - Posts - 3-click text, photo & video uploads – similar to Instagram, Google+ - Marketplace - all items the member is selling - similar to Craigslist - Discussion - featuring all discussion the member has contributed to - similar to Reddit - Video - for sharing video content they produce - similar to YouTube - Online Publishing – guided story-telling tool designed to create visually & editor...

Is it me, or does Mark Weinstein not know how to promote MeWe?

Is it me, or does Mark Weinstein not know how to promote MeWe? So MeWe exceeds 4m users. I'm happy for MeWe, because it's promising. However, Mark is still on his "free speech" spiel. He's still talking up MeWe in ways that is important, but secondary, to users. Anyone here could surmise that the real reason MeWe is gaining steam is due to the massive amount of advertisement on Google Plus, which is closing. People here are looking for something suitable and similar. So you'd think MeWe would promote whatever makes MeWe appeal to Google Plus. They have, with the Google Plus migrator. Which is good, I commend them. So then why does Mark, and MeWe to a lesser extent, still advertise in a way that is liable to turn off a large amount of people??? From Mark's own words: "At MeWe the idea of political bias, shadow banning, and censorship of Terms of Service-abiding members runs contrary to our core beliefs. MeWe believes that such censorship den...
I really wish Pinterest had blogging capabilities. That would make Pinterest seem even more like Google Plus.

WHAT'S YOUR REVIEW OF THE NEWER SOCIAL MEDIA SITES?

WHAT'S YOUR REVIEW OF THE NEWER SOCIAL MEDIA SITES? Here are mine: Minds.com - Minds looks like a Facebook/LinkedIn clone with Twitter elements. You can even have your own channel, like YouTube. Seems cool, looks promising, but no - it was all too good to be true. I started getting white supremacist/alt-right/neo-nazi/americhristian crap in my feed, and it was so prevalent I had to turn off the boosted option. But just out of curiosity, what if I wanted to boost my own posts? I have to first buy bitcoins, then use the bitcoins to buy tokens. I don't like the idea of buying secret money to buy fake money, so the site was useless to me. This is Minds' scam, I think - they partner with bitcoin to get others hooked, which raises its value. Too bad bitcoin is crashing. Apparently, Minds is useless to the Android and Apple stores too. They got rid of Minds.com, to which Minds desperately tried to find the high group. They made it seem like they were boycotting Android and Apple...

Sorry for the other post, but here's a much more positive one.

Sorry for the other post, but here's a much more positive one. What if we all banded together to convince Google Plus to spin off Communities into its own service, thus keeping the groups we love? Maybe they would have to transfer the data and members over somehow, but I think it's a lot better than shutting the project down and walking away. Anyway to give them feedback on this?

CRITICAL ANALYSIS OF MEWE AHEAD

CRITICAL ANALYSIS OF MEWE AHEAD I think I know the main problem of MeWe. It's Mark Weinstein. Everything about him. His strange obsession with Facebook, his insistence toward the Libertarian idea of free speech, and his awful business sense. Mewe, while not completely original, is still a pretty cool concept. I like getting into groups to talk and chat about things that interests me because it's fun. This is what a social network should be about. This is the only reason why people join social networks, to have fun, talk, share pictures, etc. And yet Mark Weinstein talks about everything BUT the fun aspects of MeWe. He'll talk about privacy, which is great but not a feature. He'll talk about Facebook's faults. He'll talk about MeWe Pro. He'll talk about custom emoji packs. He'll talk about being a free speech proponent (who cares). He'll talk about "the good guys". He'll talk about MeWe as if it's a revolution (LOL). He'll talk a...

John Lewis What do you think of Mewe's founder Mark Weinstein's pitch, err excuse me, AMA of Mewe to Reddit?

John Lewis What do you think of Mewe's founder Mark Weinstein's pitch, err excuse me, AMA of Mewe to Reddit? The fact that everyone seems to be pointing out flaws in his philosophy, and yet he's still able to gloss over them with his glib notions of 'privacy' and '#Notforsale' slogans are, quite frankly, worrisome. It's a marketing post with no real answers. People have been calling him out on his "copy-and-paste" marketing pitch responses in his AMA, and the lack of real answers. For the few who are enthralled, many seem uninterested. Skeptical even. He's trying to work a tough crowd on Reddit, and he's coming not convincing anyone so far. Also note that many of the things he planned for 2018 haven't happened yet (i.e. nightmode, categories for groups, better tools for admins and mods, etc). I think Mark is selling dreams that he can't live up to. And then there's SOLID. According to Mark: "Additionally, as Sir Tim Ber...
