Has anyone here been investigating the alternatives that use a crypto/blockchain? Like https://steemit.com , https://busy.org/ (both Steem based), https://www.minds.com , and https://www.ono.chat/en/ (based on an EOS DAPP)? I've been using Steemit for almost two years now and - while it is bug free - it is not the most attractive interface and getting signed up is not easy. Higher hopes for ONO and others coming. EDIT: ONO wants passport or drivers license. Ick. I'm just now signing up with http://minds.com to check it out. Oh and in case you are not familiar with this category - Distributed Application - there are many benefits, including but not limited to: - Censorship and take-down resistant; and - You get paid for your posting, commenting, and curation. As far as I know, Diaspora and Discord are centralized, yes?
