Hello everyone, I have decided on my chosen platforms. I will remain on wordpress with my blog since the format seems fairly simple and straightforward, and share my insights and interact with people across pluspora, mewe, reddit and tumblr along with some photo posts on deviantart. I know I communicated with some of you in my time in this community, and I hope some of you will reach out to me on these platforms. I removed my earlier post regarding my question of free speech because there was some devolution in the conversation. My apologies. I do hope that we can all find good platforms that let us feel safe and don't have hateful speech. The same time, I hope we don't label everyone who disagrees with us.

I continue to make inroads into other communities, encouraging them to look into ours. I am surprised we don't have more members yet. Do you think a lot of Google+ members are still unaware that the ship is doomed?

Getting a lot of interest in other communities, hopefully some folks will at least check out the posts here and learn about what's going on, then figure out where they want to go after google+ closes.

On today's list of "technical difficulties" blogger is having trouble for a few people I talked to trying to publish or preview their posts.

Anyone else notice a distinct slowness using any google services lately? Just today tried to check my gmail and it took forever to load. Noticed this a lot recently.

I am sharing some posts and links to the communities I am a part of. I encourage you to start making plans to move your content and your social media presence on google NOW because if you think the influx of porn in your communities is bad now, just wait til mods and users start moving away in the next few months as they have. I am sharing this here, and sharing it across communities. It might be flagged as spam, or not being relevant to the community guidelines or subjects ...

This is a suggestion for some writers, photographers and artists out there of all kinds, but a good platform might be Pinterest or Deviantart as well. https://www.deviantart.com/ https://www.pinterest.com/ DA has its own issues, and its certain "weird" communities like any, but theres some fantastic art and work on there in general. https://www.deviantart.com/

Has anyone given thought to creating a sort of large form forum type site for people to post different things to?

I've looked into a few community programs like reddit, tumblr, etc. Google+ worked ok for years, but I think these are better in a long run. That they are shutting the service down without ANY backup for people is telling. But at least I dont have to report half a dozen porn postings or become angry that there's no way to contact Google itself for problems and concerns.

Hey I want to thank John Lewis for starting this community and getting the ball rolling. I had a post on my own thoughts on the subject, on what we should do and the outrage I have, which I will share.
