On Social Media

Since I've been visiting Mewe I have been having problems accessing the internet. I find I suddenly can't get to web page or email accounts e.g Gmail, or facebook until I have closed my browser and flushed out all the junk. Then things are normal again. But this is very disruptive to be in the middle of various things, and have to break everything off. I often read articles, listen to the news, watch movies, listen to music, give and receive feedback on haiku on facebook, at the same time and it is an unpleasant break in my rhythm and continuity to have all this suddenly disrupted by Mewe. Does anyone else have this problem? I am thinking of stopping my visits to Mewe. At the moment I am using two laptops - one that I don't use for Mewe.

The owner of our private haiku group on G+ where we can safely workshop our writes before publication, has set up the community on Mewe https://mewe.com/group/5bc540ee0297e45804dc5324 but he does not know if it is private, nor does he know how to check if it is private or not. When you announce alternatives to G+ it would be helpful if you said whether we can create communities there Many of us are looking for sites where we can migrate our communities, not just individuals doing our own thing and posting stuff on a stream. Thank you.
