Time to say goodbye A long Google journey is coming to an end. It turned out easier than I had anticipated to replace Google products like Mail (Proton Mail), Search (Qwant and Duck Duck Go), Translate (DeepL), Hangout (Threema and Signal) and so on. But despite all my efforts I haven’t been able to find a replacement for Google+, it really was one of a kind. But maybe a break from social will do me good. From the early pioneer days Google+ was about sincere engagement and unabridged discussion, both in public and in closed communities. I’ve encountered some fantastic people in here, some really great curators, many people I agree with, and of course some people I respectfully disagree with too. I’ve met curiosity and interest and open minds. A special tribute to those of you who consistently shared information that forced me to stop and rethink. I’ve learned a lot. Thanks, all you!
