James,
No. Absolutely not.
Some argue that a vaccine will end it all. They want to say now, but they can’t because there is yet no vaccine that’s been proven safe and effective indefinitely.
Others believe an effective treatment or two may save the day, whether a vaccine is developed or not. The thought is that Covid-19 may become manageable along the lines of HIV, which is no longer deadly providing the proper drugs are administered. However, no such treatment is currently available and nobody can tell us when one will be discovered.
Nobody has any idea when the pandemic, epidemic or “hoax” will end. They’re just guessing. As of August 2020 our current situation is thus:

Dan,
Evil-minded folks who oppose #Trump fantasize that Trump Worshipers will believe that the “Hoax” is over and that they will bear the consequences of their maskless, cramped stupidity, becoming just incapacitated enough so that they have to vote by mail![1]
However, Covid-19 doesn’t care about our political disputes and is an equal opportunity infectious agent, afflicting all who are careless, not just Trump Worshipers.
No, the Trump Virus has not been “resolved.” It is being spread around liberally by those who do not mask, social distance and isolate. Meanwhile the statistics are being conservatively represented, so as to minimize the public numbers and the extent to which the “Hoax” is killing Americans.[2]
Stay safe & ignore Trump “interpretations” of reality!
-Jeff
