Dear friends!

Dear friends! I've tried pluspora, mewe, minds; tried to join openbook but they didnt even bother answering my beta request. I have no interest with openbook anymore since they seem too much elitist to my taste. And also ended up deleting my account on all the others mentioned. I dont think any of them offer anything like Google Plus did with seo friendly structure, collections, communities and blog integration. So till something like that shows up, I'll be on instagram holding my breath. Instagram.com/keremgo3d

  1. We are currently dealing with startup issues, but please consider YouMe.social.
Our priority atm is to create a stable site...so please bear with us as it's currently down for changes.

Saying this, once you see the site, pretty sure you'll like what you see.

As well, Openbook, were taking names for their beta rollout. I'm just over 700 on their list.
I have no behind the scenes knowledge with where they are at right now, but they seemed to have a small team working hard for rollout.
I'm disappointed to hear you had difficulties. Hope they didn't decide to fold before a rollout.

  2. al m I was initially very keen on the prospects of YouMe, but frankly the interface and functionality is not photography friendly and it's not for me.

  3. It's just normal that you got no response to your beta request on Openbook. You will get a message when the beta is starting. At first the alpha starts and around march/april the beta. Stay tuned.

  4. Kerem Go Maybe you will support them on Indiegogo, than you get early access. The start for this early access (alpha release) seems to be on 15th february, yesterday they twittered this date for their next status update.
indiegogo.com - Openbook: It's time for a better social network.

  6. Kerem Go Using the same logic you used to characterize Openbook as being elitist, Google+ would also have been elitist in the early days when it was a pilot. Pilot/beta systems usually don't have the infrastructure to support large numbers of users. Developers therefore have to limit the number of users they allow during testing. Unfortunately, the developers often find that they are flooded with so many requests that they are stuck with the choice of either focusing on continuing their development efforts or responding to the flood of requests. Continuing their work is obviously critical, so it is very important to be patient until the systems are ready to take on more users.

That being said, I'm in the same situation as you waiting anxiously for an invitation to Openbook.
