I just noticed that the Instagram account of a friend of mine hacked - went to his FB profile and saw his update.


I just noticed that the Instagram account of a friend of mine hacked - went to his FB profile and saw his update. It is true that instagram is NOT HELPING AT ALL during such a thing.

I regret time and energy I've invested to instagram every time when I see such things.

    I downloaded the app the day it became available for Android but deleted it the next day (without having opened an account) when it was announced that Facebook bought Instagram.

    Well, I am using Instagram now, to support and promote my blog. It may have been bought by F******k, but it is not F******k: it hasn't generated that same sort of mass hysteria that I found so off-putting from the start. And, nowadays, you do need to "promote" a blog: people are simply unaccustomed to logging into various web pages, and many browsers no longer offer RSS capability (although various third-party downloads are available).
