  6. It's unwise to jump into the cold water immediately ... Better enter a life boat first.

  7. What's so strange about continuing to share to your current followers till the majority has found a new home? The audience here is still greater than on the alternatives where you have to mostly start from scratch. Also, there's no real loss at posting the same content at multiple locations before settling on a single one.

  16. I'm standing on the deck of the boat and going down with the ship .. fuck jumping in the water and freezing before I have to ..
I put to you they will extend the date if to many people still have accounts ..
They know they could get sued if they cause to much distress .. to to many people ?

  17. Wayne Moulden what grounds do you think people have to sue Google over shutting down a free-to-use service?

  18. Wayne Moulden Distress? Yes, to lose your favourite toy can really cause too much distress...

  19. Filip H.F. Slagter it looks like there's a lot of people who are very stressed ?
Plus didn't/don't they sell our data ?
    Make money from us ?
Radovan Turan people do get attached to things don't they ?

    Personally ..
    It's been a lot of fun / interesting ..

But it looks like .. to a lot of people .. it's like they've been suddenly told they have to move house .. when they thought the lease was long term .

The sun will come up tomorrow anyhow .. If G+ is here or not ..

  20. It's not Google's fault that people assumed GPlus was gonna last forever, and get stressed from its closure. While I hate to see GPlus shut down, I really don't see that as a legitimate reason to sue. Sure, you can sue, but that doesn't mean the court won't laugh at you for being oversensitive snowflake.
Then again, luckily I haven't been living in an overly litigious society where people think they can win a court case because someone farted.

I'm quite sure the ToS we all accepted included some lines that would allow Google to one-sidedly terminate the service, even on a much shorter period.
