On March 7th, all Google+ comments on Blogger blogs will be deleted. Help us archive them!

So far we have archived 322GB of comments (86GB compressed) across more than 7 million domains and are currently processing the most voluminous blogs, please help us meet the March 7th deadline as we are currently running behind.

The goal of the project is to make the data available on http://archive.org and allow blog owners to restore comments onto their blog.

To start a worker, which downloads work units and uploads to our storage server, follow the instructions in the README https://github.com/afrmtbl/blogspot-comment-backup#running-this-worker

from the Github repo https://github.com/afrmtbl/blogspot-comment-backup . (requires Python 3.7+)

The master server is also up on Github if you're curious how it works.

You can also view the list of the 7.9 million blogs that will be saved http://blogspot-comments-master.us.to/worker/domains.txt.gz (117MB), and the current progress statistics.
