For data migration: Google Drive has 15GB free storage
Thats far more than enough for most users, though photo/video-heavy profiles may exceed this.
You can select Google Drive storage WHEN CREATING your Google Data Takeout archive and have it stored there automatically.
Google Data Takeout with G+ content preselected:
https://takeout.google.com/settings/takeout/custom/circles,plus_communities,plus_one,plus_pages,profile,stream
(I'd thought the limit was far lower.)

I have mine on both the cloud storage and a zip drive. Too many important to me memories to trust one single place.
ReplyDeleteAnd thank you for all your efforts to help us Edward Morbius . It's been truly appreciated.
Hmmm. People are complaining about 15Gb storage on mewe.com.
ReplyDeleteKarl Hansen then again, posting on Google+ didn't count towards your storage limit. Nor does uploading photos to Google Photos have to count towards your storage limit either, unless you choose to upload in 'original size'.
ReplyDeleteMeWe however counts every byte.
Yeah, but your gmail takes up part of that room. I have virtually no MBs in drive, but 13.96 GB in gmail.
ReplyDeleteWindy Sawczyn Yes, Gmail usage counts against that. The option exists, however, and may be useful to some.
