Agents, we appreciate your patience and understanding as we work on a replacement for Google+. With the official shutdown of Google+ coming next week, we wanted to give you some insight into what we’ve been working on.

We will be launching our own Ingress forum to provide you with a centralized place to turn to for official announcements and support, as well as opportunities for you to connect with others in your community. You can expect the same level of access to information directly from Niantic in the form of release notes, launch and event information and AMAs to exist in this forum as it did on Google+.

We will also be migrating over the OPR and Portal Appeals communities and creating a specific section of the Ingress forum where you can submit questions, surface issues, provide feedback and reach out directly to the NIA-Ops team.

While we’re excited to roll this out to you, we’re still working on building this solution, aiming to launch in June. In the meantime, there are a number of alternatives to Google+ for information from Niantic, including our Twitter (twitter.com/Ingress) and Facebook (facebook.com/Ingress) Pages as well as the Ingress Prime Feedback subreddit (reddit.com/r/IngressPrimeFeedback). With regard to Portal Appeals, we’ll be creating a publicly accessible form that can be used until the forum has launched, available here: PortalAppeals.ingresshelp.com

We’ll be posting an update on our progress in a few weeks to keep you in the loop on what to expect and when. Thanks again for your patience and understanding. We look forward to building a great Ingress online community solution with you.
