For me the best way to take out my data from Google+ has been to use my Samsung phone's (Note 8) ability to do "scroll capture" screenshot. Quite simply this means that I can take one screenshot of a complete thread - even if it's very long. Samsung's "Gallery"-app is required to view the screenshot properly - but that's fine with me.
Since this method is working so well for me, I just thought I would pass it on here. I hope everyone find a tolerable way to leave Google+.

Very helpful - there is readability by size of letters, so Fine & Neat
ReplyDeleteHave you got, by this, comments & + s also, so neatly ?
Thanks for sharing & the spirit Jannik Lindquist
Ifinder Ifindi Thanks :-) Yes, everything is preserved bit for bit.
ReplyDeleteThere's another app that you non-Samsung users could consider if you can swallow the very scammy look of it, is Longshot https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.leavjenn.longshot
ReplyDeleteDisclaimer; I'm not affiliated with this dev or app and you should really look into reading what permissions it uses before installing.
play.google.com - LongShot for long screenshot - Apps on Google Play
Stitchcraft is good
ReplyDeleteSounds like OCR could be useful here.
ReplyDeleteOnePlus - long screenshot built-in
