Hi folks, is there any sign of the Community data export tool Google promised for early March?
I’m keen to preserve posts from categories in my public community and at the minute there’s no way to do that I can see. Exporting links to posts with will fail as an archive when G+ goes dark so anything pulled with current tools will be erased April 2nd. Any advice would be appreciated.

It's not here but there's something happening. Each time I look at Takeout.G+Communities the UI has changed. At the moment it talks about "Community summary" and offers JSON. But if you download JSON what you get is HTML. And it's still just a list of posts.

Julian Bond many thanks for the update. I’m giving the Google Plus Exporter a go as it seems it’ll be a better tool than anything Google actually come up with.
