Hi!

Hi! I've been trying to get reliable answers on if the Google+ account associated with a G Suite account will also be deleted?
Thanks in advance. Karina

  1. G Suite accounts will not be deleted on April 2.

G Suite Google+ will have ignificant limitations and changes relatiove to consumer G+.

Q: Is there any way to continue using Google+ after the sunset?

A: Google will continue offering an enterprise / corporate product, as a paid service (free for education and non-profit), which may present an option.

This will be part of Google's G Suite brand with per-user per-month pricing tiers of $5, $10, and $25 (annually $60, $120, and $300), for Basic, Business, and Enterprise tiers, all in US dollars. Those prices will soon increase. https://cloud.google.com/blog/products/g-suite/new-pricing-for-g-suite-basic-and-business-editions

G Suite Google+ will not have Circles or Collections, core elements of Consumer Google+.

Qualified registered non-profit / NGO organisations may be eligible for free usage at the Basic level.

  3. Hmm, I googled, you can get a free two-week G suite trial. Paid service starts at $5 per month, which wouldn't be quite outrageous if I knew the regular posters I follow would do the same thing.

Has Google ever dropped a PAID service?

  4. G Suite Google+ won't have the concept of Public or sharing with people outside of your domain so it is best to assume that all posts & comments you have made on Google+ on your G Suite account interacting with the rest of the world will go poof.

  5. I strongly recommend against anyone signing up for G Suite unless they are a business. It is no longer a consumer product, despite what was promised in 2006.

  7. G+ corporate is not much use as a social platform, however G+ profiles are integrated into G Suite and required to pull full profile details on an account when using their APIs, even to just get a full name against a G Suite email (from dev experience).
