A: April of 2019. Four months earlier than originally announced.

Q: Can I save my G+ content?

• Select JSON format where possible for each item.
• Select the archive format, zip file is suggested default.
• Select an archive chunk size. If unsure, leave the default of 2 GB.
• Select your delivery or storage option.
Other tools for archiving exist. Currently https://gplus-exporter.friendsplus.me is the only one we've tested.

Ifinder Ifindi My only experience in migrating to Blogger involved using a third party app. I haven't attempted the "direct" approach.

ReplyDeleteI wonder if sites that use G+API login will be contacting users to request alternative login credentials. I couldn't possibly remember all the sites I logged into with G+!
ReplyDeleteCade Johnson There's a difference between Google+ API authentication and Google Authentication. My suspicion is that one will dovetail into the other.
ReplyDeleteThat said, developers who have access to the Google+ API have already been notified by email. I've seen the letter (I'm not but friends here are.)
If you need to know I can find out, if it's more curiosity then I'll back burner it because my plate is very full.
just curious if anyone is hearing from third-party sites. I guess it is too soon; this will be an issue for February.

ReplyDeleteIfinder Ifindi Given your history of issues with various products, and the inability of those to be addressed through online help and forums, you'd likely be far better served by hiring someone locally to help you in person.
ReplyDeleteFrom what I've seen, you will not achieve any degree of success through the online channels I've seen you utilise, including this Community, G+H, and Friends+Me.
Speaking for myself, you've been occupying too much time and attention that could be more productively applied elsewhere.
