    In that case the post serves a worthwhile purpose.
    I intend to put this in my toolkit for G+ migration resources.
    The more decent and useful tools the better.
    Plus now there are nine upvotes and multiple reshares.
    Sometimes it is important to repeat stuff.
    I do it all the time. Obviously.

  6. With my limited examination of Cake it's pretty friendly and informative - pretty much interest-based. But that's a big draw for me.

  9. Holger Jakobs it is centralized :(
    For those unable or unwilling to develop data independence, it is a kind, laid-back place where you get to meet lots of interesting people (and loose them again just as fast).
    For me, the (difficult) search for sustainable data independence is now the only real objective.

  10. The more I look into cake the more I like it. I just love the simplicity. It's interest based which G+ shifted to anyways.
