Hi all,
I'm migrating my collections and community (African Music Forum) to standalone WordPress blogs.
As I'm checking other social venues, I joined Mastodon to discover the Fediverse...
And I discovered that there are 2 plugins to connect your WP blog to Mastodon: ActivityPub & Pterotype.
Installed both (not at the same time) on a sandboxed WP, and I will investigate more to better understand what they're doing, but this is promising, isn't it?

ReplyDeleteThanks for this :). Good luck out there.
ReplyDeleteBryan Ruby I don't know specifically, but the main question I see is "is it sustainable". To be frank, I wasn't looking for a way to replace "Medium" as I don't use it, but before switching back to my own blog, I asked myself if I should write over there or not... So it was intringuing to me to see it appear in the list... that's all
ReplyDeleteBryan Ruby probably because it's another corporate, silo'ed, closed solution, rather than more open platform part of the FreeNetwork (The Federation + Fediverse).
