Last time I'm posting or talking about Project Atmos. ACTUALLY IMPORTANT, REPOST THIS ONE TOO...

I mislead a lot of people on my last post. That post was meant to be casual and I hoped like a good ten people would repost it. It was not as casual as I thought.

The concept layout on my last post was created by discord user Harizone. I was a fucking dumbass and only posted the actual image rather than the messages behind it.

HOWEVER.

Project Atmos is a lot more alive because of it.

The developers intend to make a site by g+ users, for g+ users. They intend for it to be even better than google plus and ideas are being discussed almost all the time. They accept your questions (as long as they're not in the FAQ).
Some things that G+ users will find pleasant:

> They want to keep it as ad free as possible.
> They're adding collections, communities, and circles!

And not only is this a discord server tracking development, but it's also a hangout place for artists and for all g+ users to just talk!

The previous post did give them some support and fuel that they needed. More and more support will only be good for them.

And just because this project is going on, does not mean that you shouldn't be safe and make other social media accounts! Keep track of your friendships, please!

Here is a comment made by Atmos dev som3fello :

"hey! im one of the developers and i will answer questions and concerns...

this project is indeed a legitimate startup. we have a development team of teenagers with an adult leading us. sure, a majority of us may be teenagers, but we possess the technical knowledge necessary to make this happen. we're not just script kiddies.

we do not have locked funds unfortunately, but we do have money lying around from devs' personal funds as well as financial support from a former executive. based on our plans for which server providers to use, we should last at least 2 years without external funds.

we take security seriously (unironically). we do frequent penetration testing, and we fix anything as soon as possible.

of course, mewe is a great option to migrate to once g+ shuts down. they're a legitimate business run by experienced developers and people with experience in this field. however, we have a different goal than they do.

and for everyone who wants to move on, move on. that's totally fine, sometimes you just gotta leave something behind. but we, the development team, are determined to make a new home for those who wont let go, and there are many of us out there.

realistically, there is no 100% guarantee of this succeeding. there are so many things to take into account, including you, potential users. but, we're trying our very best to make this project a reality, and at this stage of development, the probability of failure is low and getting lower.

if you guys have any questions, let me know."

But I REALLY believe in them. And I think the more people who believe, the more of a chance this project has to thrive!
