My Plans for a G+ afterlife:
1. buy IPhone
2. kill off Chrome on ALL devices and install ?
3. kill GMail acct
4. reclaim all the time I spend on G+ and use it to finish all home projects either already started or put off
what have I forgotten?

ReplyDeleteI also won’t be using gmail after Google+ goes away, and I’ll be choosing a different search engine too. I already have an iPhone, so I don’t have to worry about that. (My list is incredibly similar to yours.) The only thing I’m doing differently is, I’ll be doing a lot more reading, and I’ll be going back to school.

ReplyDeleteGood luck, it will be tough finding replacements to Maps and YouTube xD
Sounds like an over-exaggeration, but good luck with it :)

An iPhone? But that just puts you completely under the thumb of yet another greedy corporation. At the risk of being political, I believe that what's happened here on G+ is just another symptom of a total system in a state of terminal decay. Put your trust in any corporation, and you'll end up getting the shaft. That's the age we live in.
ReplyDeleteWe need a whole new approach - not only to social media, but to our entire way of life! Because the old ways are literally killing our planet.
