Before everything is shut down, and before everyone is gone, I'd like to take this time to express how thankful I am for the experience I've had on G+ since 2011. I'm grateful for the friends, the enemies, the discussions, the arguments, everything. This place and you people have taught me a lot and helped my personal growth in many ways. It's been fun, impissinating, educational, enlightening, disgusting and more all at the same time.

ReplyDeleteYour position is based on "lack of censorship must equal support". This attitude is what's wrong with things today, and what has gotten us into the "political correctness" mess of horseshit that we're in in society today.
Furthermore, I haven't seen any "hate" speech on mewe so far.
Why? Because I'm not seeking it out!
For the same reason I don't go to certain parts of a city. There's parts of Memphis that I absolutely will not go thru late at night; because I know it's dangerous and I know I'll be hated to death. Does that mean I think the entire city is shit, that the entire city should be banned and shut down? Does that mean that the government and other citizens of Memphis actually support the criminal activity there? No. No. And no.
What it means is in real life, there's always areas that have people of hostile beliefs or opinions towards someone else. Does that mean they don't have a right to live or speak?
Because that is the fascist attitude that is being promoted by SO many on the left today; "conform to our politically correct mandates or be banned and/or shut down."
Am I sympathetic towards hate groups? Hell no. But that's what most leftist are going to accuse me of (and have accused me of) when reading what I've said here. (because it's not the first time I've said it).
But I'm also not going to support censorship and fascism.
"Live and let live" used to be the accepted mantra. Now it's "live as we agree with or be censored".
Also, your argument would be much less laughable if I had ever, even one time, seen you on a soapbox decrying any other public outlets for "hate speech" against whites. But I've never seen you post any outrage over the things twitter and facebook allows in that regard.
Remember those BLM kids that assaulted and batter3d that mentally handicapped white kid live on facebook? Where were your posts to ban facebook for supporting actual live streaming of violent racism in action?
There's thousands of tweets to the effect of "kill all white people" , "fuck white people", etc that are live on twitter now. Where's your posts and comments decrying that tolerated racism?
Oh, right, you do not have any. Because you don't actually care about racism. You care about being on a soapbox, beating whatever the current popular leftist drum is.
I'm as personally disgusted by the anti-white tweets (which I have actually seen) and I am by the thought of any KKK or Nazi shit (which I personally have not seen on mewe).
But you don't see any posts or comments from me calling for any of the platforms that support any of them to be banned.
For the same reason that you don't see me calling for the entire city of Memphis to be shut down because of certain areas that are racist and literally violent.
Why?
Because I'm an adult, and I understand that there are assholes everywhere that there are people. And if I went around crying about each and every place that has assholes, then I'd be spending all my time and energy doing that. It would be giving the assholes my time an energy, instead of living my life for me.
I guess to put it another way, I'm not letting assholes in Orange Mound of Fraysier stop me from having a good time with my friends on Beale Street or Mud Island.
