Does the Google + account closure affect the 15 gig photo storage I have been using? Is that a separate product?

    If you have it stored on Google PHotos, then your photos are safe.

    Just make sure the images do appear somewhere other than "Photos from Posts" in your album archive ( accounts.google.com - Sign in - Google Accounts )

    Mike Kennedy No, generally. Google Photos won't be shut down in April, but the folder Leonard Harris mentions will be deleted:
