From Group Google+ Help: Fourteen Point Two Million Served
We Are Here To Help Others

The following post was just entered at Google+ Help. It may or may not continue to live there. Perhaps it will be killed off.

Striking down this post would of course directly contradict the basic and overarching mission of Google+ Help. We shall see.

Anyway, I am claiming social victory. For this effort and several other kinds of online social engagement on this platform.
Yesterday I did outreach to G+ India, N > 700K.
Last year I reached G+ Voices Of Africa, N > 127K.
I have truly completed outreach for G+ migration worldwide.
Simply put, no one else begins to come close.

In late January I posted essentially this same content to a major G+ social media platform group, N > 220K I think. The post was very quickly struck down by yet another troll moderator.
There are lots of irrational and arbitrary anti-social troll moderators on this platform. Looks like I've collected pretty much the whole set.
That group is of course going away, lotsa people needed migration options, and this was of course the hot topic and of highest importance. So yet again, I get shot down by an antisocial troll moderator.

It's no big deal, but I will also post to the small and mostly useless general G+ group for Europeans.
Europe actually qualifies as a continent. Yet somehow several hundred million Europeans proved unable to establish a half-decent G+ community in the last three years and longer. They just could not make it happen.
Go figure.

I tried to engage the Europeans. It usually fails. Not my problem.
The main G+ group for the USA also completely sucks and is run by anti-social trolls.

One of the main G+ groups for Buddhism [ N > 65K ] also completely sucks and is run by an arrogant eurotroll. I visited there yesterday. The sad people on the latter G+ group are collectively unable to chant their way out of a wet paper bag.
I have to ask myself: Where do all these low end types come from?
And also:
Why are most people today so stupid compared with the seventh graders in Cincinnati Ohio with whom I grew up?

Back then and there the chicks made sense and they were reasonable. Things have really changed drastically for the worse.
Lotsa people online cannot handle basic English or think straight at all.

Nevertheless, the Buddhist teaching is now extremely powerful all over this platform. I got the job done. All by me onesies. And I provided the necessary forward paths for the Buddhist communities. Where possible.

As the Tibetan lineage holder Yangsi Kalu Rinpoche said in Vancouver some years back,
"All you need is one good teacher."
He was right. And I am the proof. Tho not on anywhere near his level.

As you would expect, no one is shipping me packages of Milano cookies or throwing roses on me.
Stuff like that just does not happen.
All I get out of this is massive good karma, and the ability to claim I am a world class social media wizard.

"I was taught to love the law, the poetry of its expression, the beauty of its intent. But most of all I was taught to use my life to help others."

"We are here to help others. What the others are here for I do not know."

Technical Help And Resources For Google Plus Migration

I am a systems programmer and systems analyst, the federal class / military class type. In other words, I take my technical work seriously and most Microsoft managers cannot actually read or understand my resume.
But I get the job done where others do not or cannot.
I make sure the good things happen and the bad things do not happen.
Where that is actually doable.
I strongly encourage people to reshare this most useful post.

Of course this post has no official standing with any group or organization, certainly not with Google or Alphabet. It is just very useful and most needed.
As of this post my technical outreach for Google Plus Migration has reached fourteen point two million "members", meaning G+ community memberships.

There are two major G+ groups focusing on G+ migration, and several other such groups, e.g. on Reddit and MeWe. I provide those url links here.

My purpose here is Not to endorse or specifically support individual platforms such as Reddit or MeWe. The idea here is to provide forward paths and build bridges for sustainable community.

MeWe is one way to go and there is strong evidence that many or most G+ groups are migrating to MeWe.
MeWe does not work for me, for several key reasons.
The point is that this is one generic platform where G+ people can regroup.
If another better platform comes along in two years then we can all share word of that on a common platform like MeWe and make another co-ordinated move.

I am the main community organizer [ by far ] on this social platform.
My Buddhist teaching has reached four point nine million members [ G+ group memberships ] on this platform.
I do a lot of other social work here.

You have been helped. Be sure to invest some time and effort to help others, and remember,
Don't Be Evil."
Thank you.

Google Plus Migration: Time To Get Rolling
Resources And Tools For Life After G+

Notes from different people.
Major resources and go to G+ communities.
Please share this information.

Summary: There are several alternatives to Google Plus, either presently available, like MeWe, or in development, like Open Book.
There are also G+ groups for discussing options and developing strategies, like Google+ Mass Migration.

I am, as you all know, the main free speecher and free society organizer on this social platform and also the main Buddhist teacher.
I do a broad range of communication work here as well, for example in public health and complementary medicine.

I have now done outreach for Google Plus migration work, engaging over 'fourteen point two million' people on various diverse G+ groups.
This is of course a nominal figure. But my outreach work has been reshared by many.

My overall work here will continue for another few weeks.
I have a great deal to accomplish in a very compressed time frame.

Now is the time to prepare for setting up individual accounts, groups, and social connectivity on other platforms.
Much work is being done in this specific area and there are two G+ groups for these discussions.

It is very possible that many people will choose to migrate their online social networking from Google plus to a set of platforms rather than just one platform.
In some cases content providers have established their own platform.

I expect to move most of my social content and public service work to places like MeWe, reddit, and Pinterest.
This new set of tools is a far weaker set of capabilities and resources than the Google Plus platform presently offers, particularly for my outreach and teaching work.

Obviously, no real work can be done on either Fascistbook or Twitter.
Fascistbook is spyware and pure evil.

The loss of G+ is catastrophic for global communication.
One reason is that global communication requires multiple language support, in particular Japanese, Chinese, Russian, Hindi and a set of western languages.

I can hope that major platform alternative MeWe will support Chinese and Hindi by mid 2019 but we shall see.

A second critical necessity is free speech.
MeWe maintains that as a primary principle but Fascistbook is a primary enemy of free speech, as are Twitter and some other platforms and platform services.

An alternative approach for major content providers is to generate a stream that propagates to different distributaries, such as a dedicated blog, Fascistbook and others at the same time.
This works but it does not support community engagement, just content distribution.

Here are some resources and technical perspectives.
And Happy Chinese New Years to us all, muggles and wizzies alike!

The free speech social platform Gab, recently shut down, has been rehosted.

The domain http://Gab.com has landed at Epik.
This post will summarize why Epik welcomed Gab.com. It will also address why I believe the operators of the site have the right to be online.

But quite truthfully, it belongs there and should remain.

Please stick to topic and cut your post length by about 90%. You'll help your stated goals in that.

    Here is the summary.
    It's up at the top.

From Group Google+ Help: Fourteen Point Two Million Served

Nobody has to read two lines from me much less a hundred.
But this is what we project manager types call a "major milestone".
Fourteen million served is really nuthin' to sneeze at.
    Right?

My often extended posts typically include keyword lists and a summary up top.
In this case the summary is the title.

    And BTW you're welcome.
JSYK, my stated goals are already served.
And some of my posts are fairly massive three part articles.
Nobody on this platform writes like I do.
    Clearly nobody knows how.

I probably brought one thousand to two thousand to this group. Probably more.
    Do you get that part?
    I just don't think so.
    Reconsider your perspective.
I am fully capable of rigorously criticizing my communication approaches and strategies. I do that a lot.
    I define and propagate strategies.
And I win all over the map.

    Anyone else?

I am fully capable of rigorously criticizing my communication approaches and strategies. I do that a lot.
    I define and propagate strategies.

Large numbers of people love this meme.
Haven't used it since last year.
I can still use it again, and I will.

There was no reason whatsoever for the Google spam filter to flag this post.
Obviously it begins with several paragraphs of unique text specifically targeted to people on this community.

We do what we can and take lots of hits along the way.
