Yeah, this one's rather obscure. But the Superior Mutants of the Church of the Subgenius have had a members-only forum on Google Groups called "scrubgenius" for years now.
And a couple of 'em are getting a bit worried because Google Groups is even more neglected than G+
So with an eye towards a possible migration, there's now a Mastodon server at dobbs.town. If you're a dues-paid member of the Church of the Subgenius (Google for it), email the webmaster for an invite.

Would give a FB-style "Love" react if it were implemented! <3 <3 <3 <- 3 hearts, one for each Fist!
ReplyDeleteErr, ok. So what if you are already a member and logged into another Mastodon instance?
ReplyDeleteHail Eris!
Julian Bond You can stay on that instance or you can move to Dobbs.town and mark your current instance as forwarded.
ReplyDeleteIMHO. Using Instance as a proxy for community group is just wrong. I should be able to follow people and discussions in that group without having multiple identities in the fediverse.
ReplyDeleteAs a surviving member of the Terra Australis Clench, I'm highly excited by this. But I'm not one for twitter like platforms - they seem to induce too much false slack.
