So my situation is a little unique
I do not own a G suite account, but my email is not a gmail like everyone else who was snapped. Even my alt’s felt the sting of oblivion, but not I.

Who owns the domain?
ReplyDeleteSame with me...I think. I don’t remember ever using G Suite.
ReplyDeleteIt’s a private school email called socprep
ReplyDeleteMy main account (that I originally created as an alt) is cleared and inaccessible, but not this account at all! And I’m 90% sure I don’t have G Suite. I thought I was the only one!
ReplyDeleteSo it's a GSuite education account. I use one of those now, as well.
ReplyDeleteGod
ReplyDeleteBut all my friends are gone
It’s fascinating that there are other survivors tho.
ReplyDeleteI wonder what my situation is. Because my email on this account has something to do with “[my last name].net” as said here:https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/P7Y2KyKToaHo9RIoyVEVXE-s2fm3M9xvN-_958Xy37tSYzK8E_vtcCNahWbGHOZXr9U-KUNF66E4O5fsDtLgxw_vdAGy5JcFzl0=s0

ReplyDeleteJacob Grigley I didn't even think to create this edu GSuite G+ account until a few weeks back. Just in case.
ReplyDeleteBack when Google apps were $10/year and included a domain, I subscribed. So this is a grandfathered Google Apps account I'm using, but seems okay…
ReplyDeleteAw, sick. Gsuite is super expensive nowadays. Couple that with domain upkeep and you're paying thru the nose in comparison to the old rate.
ReplyDeletePersonally, I'm on the grandfathered GApps from when anyone could get GApps with 50 users for free...
ReplyDeleteI have two grandfathered GSuite accounts for my family. One I set up. The other I got from someone when there was one month when someone found a loophole that allowed you to transfer them. (Do a one-month pro trial, transfer the ownership, change the domain, cancel the trial). I'm very limited in terms of number of accounts, but it was nice when I finally gave up running my own mail server.
ReplyDeleteJason Bouwmeester I have a few of those older free accounts, as well(some not tied to domains, anymore). This account was actually created for a business I had wanted to get off the ground, but now I just keep it for the cloud storage.
