Wow! Public Communities, still?

Wow! For personal nonsense, you can make a public community, the posts of which are not visible in streams of others unless they are member. :) A caveat -- new public communities are disabled by now, and the only option is to re-use one of your old empty ones. A way to do that then, is simply:

Preferences -> Manage amount of posts in home stream -> None.

The members will see in the stream, but others will be able to see by directly visiting the community url.

  8. Whether or not Community posts show up on a profile is a setting in your own account... somewhere. It's been a while since I tinkered around in those knobs.
