  1. I'm there as BobQuasit and I asked a question. Is anyone else there now?

  2. Does anyone know if it's acceptable to ask a second question if your first hasn't been answered yet?

  3. you can ask as many as you want, and yes others are there

  4. Thanks for sharing. Weinstein's answers confirm my decision to mark MeWe off my list of potential migration sites. ... which is growing shorter by the day.

  5. Selina Kyle ...I don't think I can get on board with a name like "Winestain"!!!😳

  6. Lol, it's okay, they're two totally different people 😝

  7. In short, it seem like a relatively safe place to be right now, mostly for privacy, but anything extra might cost extra.

  8. Yep. I'm ok with that. They have to keep the lights on somehow.

  9. Yes, FB, G+ and others take our data to monetize them, (or to give us bad advice to spend our money locally), while MeWe promises to ... take our money more directly.
They could sell our data later, to the Libertarian Party, or whatever.

FB has known problems, but at least, they are trying to fight trolls and bots and Fake Science (a pet peeve of mine), while MeWe welcomes all Snake oil salesman.

But, in the current configuration, trolls can't annoy us too much.

BTW, I found trolls on Pluspora.

Until we reach 8GB, seems we're mostly OK.

  10. Christian Nalletamby selling our data is what Mark is totally against, that's why he started mewe to begin with. I never see that happening. FB has a lot of problems, and them trying to fight whatever is irrelevant to me because it's all done at a very high price, our privacy.

I can ignore and block snake oil salesmen, that's not an issue. 🤷

  11. Selina Kyle Here is my problem: the selfishness of people who are certain they cannot be influenced by quack!
    :)

There are real problems with anti-science!
One is rumours about vaccines, based on random Youtube videos, or "the neighbour of my cousin said that...".
As a result, people vaccinate less, and more people get sick or die, because they listened to people ranting from rich countries.

Also, the PutinBots made me quite mad too.
Plus, chemtrails, Agenda 21, Jade Helm, Flat Earth, "slavery was better for blacks", "Shoah never happened", etc, some are worth fighting.

(The biggest collection of Nibiru and Alt-Consciousness was found on Minds, BTW).

  12. I didn't get to ask my own questions, but similar questions to what I had were asked, and the answers were about as not-good as I expected. 😝😐

This was the big one, and went unanswered: https://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/comments/9sq3jf/comment/e8r58r7
