That confirms what I suspected: There are no real alternatives to G+
ReplyDeleteSarah Rosen Which is also why it's so hard to find common ground - different people use Google+ in different ways and still are able to cross paths, which is very unique - we have a swiss army knife, and the alternatives we are made to choose from are steak knives, bread knives or even spoons etc. (to use a kitchen metaphor).

I'm mostly on MeWe and Pluspora at the moment, but I'm not entirely convinced...

ReplyDeleteAs you have mentioned, there isn't a one size fits all solution, at this moment.
I get the impression Hubzilla has most of the features and then some, but I hear bad things about the UI. I wonder if I can fix those.
