I'm trying to find a contact for Cake.co to set up an AMA

There's no corporate / contact listing at all on the website, and nothing at Wikipedia. WHOIS is also a wash.

If there are any Cake users, can you have them drop me a line:

dredmorbiusprotonmailcom

Thanks.

  1. Edward Morbius I am not a "Cake" user, but I found this contact link: getcake.com - Contact – CAKE

Is this what you were looking for?

  2. Babette Plana That seems to be a different Cake.

  3. Edward Morbius Okay. Sorry about that.

  4. I think it is not the same - two different projects; the logo is different and I do not see common objectives in the "about" descriptions. I have passed the message for contacting you to Chris MacAskill who is a cofounder at Cake.co

  5. Edward Morbius No, I think there is only a single Cake.co out there. Buzzfile seems accurate to me.

    Try (helpcakeco)

I've let Chris MacAskill know about your request & this post.

  6. Kenneth Thompson I've emailed SmugMug's press contact. Likely addresses at cake.co fail. They're not making this easy ;-)

  7. Edward Morbius Interesting...the one I posted above (helpcakeco) worked for me.

  8. None of this is terribly encouraging, is it?

  9. Pat Kight It's all part of the message & assessment.

The other news is that my attempted message-passing through SmugMug got an unsolicited offer for an AMA with their CEO. That's SmugMug/Flickr, one of the biggest photo-sharing sites out there.

Working on deets and publicity, outreach to photographers & photography groups on G+.

  10. Tagged Chris MacAskill with a link to this over on Cake.

  11. And, Chris has contacted me via email.

  12. If you need help with G+ photographer outreach, let me know. I'm a long-time participant in the G+ Photography Scavenger Hunt (thousands of users and followers over the years) as well as several daily photo themes, and would be glad to help spread the word.

  13. Heh... I see I already offered to help in the other post. Sorry, I'm recovering from pneumonia and my brain is pretty foggy.

  14. Pat Kight Share the G+MM community link and talk us up:

    Google+ Mass Migration

Tell them we're organising AMAs. And are looking for more candidates for same. The bigger an audience we can present, the more viable the AMA. And SmugMug/Flickr asked me (and offered their CEO), I was going through them for Cake (managed to land both).

But a forum for those looking to move to be able to ask questions strikes me as something of real value.

A foggy brain is better than no brain at all!
