Google Plus is being terminated next summer.
Thusly, we will have to say goodbye to the wonderful collection that is this The Gaming Generation.
But we are already active and running over at MeWe, which I highly recommend. The UI is great, spam is almost non-existent, and the people are kind.

ReplyDeleteYou'd do better to give a rough date. It'll be Winter in Australia when G+ folds. Might be a moot point, but the assumption behind it is that G+ is a USA mostly thing. And as far as MeWe Groups go, I'm sure there'll be more coming along soon.

ReplyDeleteI've been pointed in stating "August 2019".
And note that there's no indication of when in August the sunset occurs -- there's a 31 day span there as well of ambiguity.
August is much better to go by. And of course G+ won't give a proper date, but I bet we'll all get messages reminding us before it happens.
