I don’t know if this breaks the rules or not, but once googleplus shuts down and we lose access to this community, we need a place to mourn. I have made a subreddit for us to use to share memories of this place. Enjoy

Word of advice: invite mods from users who are actually actively making a positive contribution regardless, rather than from people who are applying to be a mod, since that often attracts people who are in it for the sense of power, rather than to help out.

ReplyDeleteOK with Community, moved to Meeting Sites.
ReplyDeleteThe surest way NOT to become a Mod in my community is to ask to be one.
ReplyDeleteFilip H.F. Slagter good idea thanks for the advice
ReplyDeleteAnd while we wait, why not use the First of every month as a time to make a #SignalFlare post in your old Google+ account with just a link to where you are now? I know the rest of us who are still on Google+ will appreciate your letting us know where you are!
ReplyDeleteAnd there's still this:
docs.google.com - Google Plus Migration Directory
Is there a link to the underlying Migration document?
ReplyDeleteKarl Hansen Sorry, but which?
ReplyDeleteGoogle's shutdown announcement, or something else?
The Google+ Mass Migration Sidebar (see "About" in Mobile and App views) has links to the user directory, if you're referring to that.
And #PlexodusWiki is a general reference on Migration issues:
