Google+ has just started throwing 500 errors solid at ~12:37 April 1, 2019 US/PacificPlanning & Scheduling
I got an error submitting a comment to a post, then a CAPTCHA, then a 500.
The Archive Team on IRC noted this at 12:37 US/Pacific time.
The Google+ Homepage is throwing 500 errors, with a momentary view of a shutdown "butterbar".
I'm suspecting this is not intentional, but it's not clear yet.
I'll update as information is available.
... and as of 12:52 US/Pacific, the site's responding again.

Yeah, I got 500s and 400s and it logged me out, even of other Google. 👎

I guess that was Google engineers pulling the plug, giggling, then plugging it back in.

ReplyDeleteYep. I got a 500 trying to refresh the "Home" page. It looks like Google is going to shut down the Plus with a tantrum instead of any attempt at grace.
ReplyDeleteI have a couple of threads running in my group where people can post the URLs for whatever social media they've decided to migrate to. Some of these posts, from around 9 AM Eastern to around 2 PM, were all marked as spam.

ReplyDeleteTwo days ago I was getting 500 errors every time I attempted to use googles take out, but ONLY for my business page, not personal pages. Thanks to all of you who led me to google exporter!
