The title comes from the phrase that's in my Google+ profile photo. It's going to be an irregular continuation of my Google+ stream.
I was going to finish up by paraphrasing Dr Seuss: "don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened" but then I found this article which did a better job of conveying the mixture of feelings at times like this: https://thoughtcatalog.com/ari-eastman/2014/04/why-i-hate-the-phrase-dont-cry-because-its-over-smile-because-it-happened/
Time to say "bye" and put Google+ on a plinth alongside Jaiku and Buzz. We tried.
