Time to say goodbye:

Time to say goodbye:

“And whether we shall meet again I know not.
Therefore our everlasting farewell take:
For ever, and for ever, farewell!
If we do meet again, why, we shall smile;
If not, why then, this parting was well made”.

I want to thank all the people here who constructively posted and worked compiling information, creating archives,... in this community and for the social network reviews that helped me make a decision when looking for a new online home. May you all be happy & healthy.

After some consideration, I decided that the platforms I’ll be using are: Hyperspace, YouMe.Social, PashPost and I’ll be waiting for Openbook to be available.

Since Hyperspace is where I’ve spent most of my time, I’ll leave this mini-review, in case it might help somebody out (if they get to see my post).

Hyperspace:
#Hyperspace is a social platform that offers community-owned spaces where members are rewarded and recognized for creating and sharing the content most appreciated by their peers. Every user receives a daily allocation of AMP, their digital currency, for free .
Pros:
There are already many communities, called spaces, where you can post and get rewarded for it, you can “AMP” other people’s posts and you can also earn from such action.
You can also create your own space, and you will earn for every post that earns AMP in your space.
You can see and read posts without having to sign up.
Cons:
The site is still in Beta and many features are being developed.
There is no search feature, so it’s difficult to find new spaces.
In order to prevent spam, and to ensure high quality of posts, every post needs to be verified by the space owner, which might make it a bit of a drag.
Posts don’t seem to be indexed by Google, so they don’t show up in online searches.
