Where To Find WCANGEL:
At present, on Gab and on MeWe and Reddit
https://wheretofind.me/@wcangel

https://mewe.com/i/sobodhisattva
I have now completed G+ migration outreach to over twenty two point five million.
A lot of that outreach is not visible as top level posts.
And I provided a good functional strategy.
Probably more than eighty or ninety percent of the people who joined this group did so specifically due to my outreach.
I also have a major G+ collection Google Plus Migration. Lots of important links and articles there. Will archive that shortly.
I also did Buddhist outreach / teaching for seven million.
Plus major public health outreach and so on.
In these and many other ways I have the largest footprint by far of anyone on this social platform.
I do civilization level work, for example on behalf of global Buddhist community. Not that this is a well known concept. But Buddhist community is now global. That is a primary and professional responsibility for me as guru.
"The rule of no realm is mine, neither of Gondor nor any other, great or small. But all worthy things that are in peril as the world now stands, those are my care.
And for my part, I shall not wholly fail of my task, though Gondor should perish, if anything passes through this night that can still grow fair or bear fruit and flower again in days to come.
For I also am a steward. Did you not know?"
Gandalf the White, speaking to Denethor
All this massive G+ footprint goes away quite soon. Sigh. Impermanence.
I do have a large set of Lessons Learned here, and on quite a few levels.
My basic migration strategy { Reddit, MeWe, Gab, multi-platform } looks better and better all the time.
Quite a few G+ groups have set up on both MeWe and evil totalitarian spyware platform Facebook. And none of us have to care about Facebook.
Some groups were going to do Facebook and not MeWe. We saw pressure to move towards the MeWe platform which was repeatedly successful.
For serious content providers the blogging option is of course necessary, coupled with redistribution via multiple channels such as Facebook and MeWe. That is the general strategy, and no doubt something I need to do.
Reddit is looking much much better as a serious forward path.
Reddit is basically free speech plus "safe spaces", the mixed strategy.
Their groups are often heavily moderated and strictly rules based.
Reddit groups can be very large, supporting major outreach and engagement.
I do not know how much Reddit has grown due to G+ migration. They were already very well established.
MeWe has grown massively in recent months. MeWe is now at four million and will soon reach five million, if not there today. No doubt I had a lot to do with that, by promoting MeWe many times in my massive outreach.
MeWe is much improved as a global platform. It still does not do what I need for effective outreach and community work.
The main point is that Reddit, Gab, and MeWe are free speech platforms, and that is crucial and paramount.
There are several major principles to uphold, both technical and social. Not many people seem to have got that set clear in their minds, at least not quickly. Which really surprised me.
Don't Be Evil. Tell me about it.
The hope is that Facebook will hemorrhage a couple million users, and that free speech platforms will develop increasing social strength and social utility.
What people needed are these: good alternative platforms, good outreach, and strong motivation to move. I did my part.
In various ways taken together I am demonstrably the main social organizer on this platform. I became a world class social media wizard. By necessity and by heretofore unseen heavy lifting.
There is a lot of engagement on the Russian platform VK. I expect to go engage there in the Fall. No guarantee that the huge Russian platform is safe, but virtual private networking handles that problem.
The future is difficult. Storm clouds gather, ominously.
Things are getting bad much sooner than I expected in many parts of the world. More people are waking up to the serious problems we face.
Expect increasing instability on all levels.
For this reason, functional social connectivity is of high importance.
I have worked very seriously and professionally, as a systems analyst and technical PM type, to help make that happen. Evidently with major success.
For me the loss of G+ is a very severe and crippling loss, a severity one / priority one problem.
I simply had to work very fast and very hard on building new bridges and developing new strategies, which is beyond the scope of the present discussion.
But the late Marilyn Ferguson would totally get it. I followed thru in ways that would make her rejoice. This is the deeply and broadly integrative approach. I really wish more people had woken up to this approach since the early 1980s.

ReplyDeleteNope. I was just going with the Russian theme. Played by an American actress named Scarlett Johansson.
Clearly you've never seen The Avengers. It's a big hit.
Almost went with the Gandalf theme.
Since I am a wizard.
I do Most Serious political work. My PII is kept off these public convos. I'm at risk in several key respects.
F'rinstance, if the Europeans knew who I was they'd block me from entry to Germany, the U.K. and so forth.
I am a hard core free speecher / free society organizer, and a counter-jihad analyst outreach. On an international level. The main such across this entire platform.
And a wizard, of course. Gryffindor type. Druid class.
So there are several major Sharia reasons to do me in.
I like to keep my social media threat surface pretty small.
Technically I would be a major or even primary target for the orcs.
Primary, I think.
One Ring To Rule Them All.
This mug shot is closer to the mark.
That's the best I can do.

“We shouldn't be here at all, if we'd known more about it before we started.
But I suppose it's often that way.
The brave things in the old tales and songs, Mr. Frodo: adventures, as I used to call them.
I used to think that they were things the wonderful folk of the stories went out and looked for, because they wanted them, because they were exciting and life was a bit dull, a kind of a sport, as you might say.
But that's not the way of it with the tales that really mattered, or the ones that stay in the mind. Folk seem to have been just landed in them, usually — their paths were laid that way, as you put it. But I expect they had lots of chances, like us, of turning back, only they didn't. And if they had, we shouldn't know, because they'd have been forgotten. We hear about those as just went on — and not all to a good end, mind you; at least not to what folk inside a story and not outside it call a good end. You know, coming home, and finding things all right, though not quite the same — like old Mr Bilbo.
But those aren't always the best tales to hear, though they may be the best tales to get landed in!
I wonder what sort of a tale we've fallen into?”
― J.R.R. Tolkien, The Two Towers
“'I wish it need not have happened in my time,' said Frodo.
'So do I,' said Gandalf, 'and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.'”
"It is not our part to master all the tides of the world, but to do what is in us for the succor of those years wherein we are set, uprooting the evil in the fields that we know, so that those who live after may have clean earth to till.
What weather they shall have is not ours to rule."
