Forwarding Information For G+ Neuroscience News
This group has ~ 10K members.
I post the forwarding information verbatim as someone who in no way represents G+ Neuroscience.
In the particular case of this information stream the fanout is quite large. Including the wholly unacceptable and purely evil Fascistbook.
I will also today post this to my major G+ collection Public Health, together with other official migration paths for health oriented G+ groups.
I am providing several levels of ad hoc support for G+ migration.
This type of piecemeal incremental effort works when more people pro-actively work in parallel to publicize and share information on G+ migration.
Over the next several months I will work in a number of different subject matter areas across G+ to tell people about migration strategies and resources, including in particular this G+ group.
Which I found by accident fairly early.
Thus far I have put the word out to "some two million people". Or more.
Some very large G+ groups [ group moderators for major groups ] have no idea what they are going to do.
Harry Potter fans and Buddhists and critter aficionados need not worry, as I will migrate stacks of content for these. . .somewhere next Spring.
The loss of social connectivity next August is critically important and devastating. The hit on my own outreach and teaching work is worst case.
I think every major G+ group needs some kind of official migration path decided and announced by early January.
Otherwise it is up to individuals to take the initiative to independently continue those kinds of public sharing and engagement and let others know this winter.
