A question which frequently comes up over at MeWe is whether it's possible on the app to see a feed of all new posts in all the groups we're following. The answer is actually yes - but it's done a little differently from what you think:

1. Go to the groups tab in the app and open any group from the top section called "Group alerts". This will show you only the new posts in that particular group. Read what you want to read of the new posts from that group.

2. Now scroll left. See? You're now in the next group with new posts.

  1. Ummmm, I'm confused. In step2, what do I scroll left? The button? The entire screen? A pane?

  2. What I'd like to see is all group posts in its own tab separate from the 'people' stream, and doesn't require me to open the group one by one. I actually requested that feature in G+ back then.

  4. Jannik Lindquist Yes I did, very clear. What I'm trying to say is the group tab in MeWe doesn't show feed but only alerts that there are new posts in my groups but I can't see them until I open them. I'd prefer it to be presented as a feed in a timeline just like the posts from the people I follow.

  5. Halfey Halphstein Just out of curiosity, though - what difference does it make whether you scroll downwards or sideways to read new posts?

  6. Jannik Lindquist Either way is acceptable, I think, though having it sideways is probably a bit awkward because I've never seen it done in any social media.

  7. Halfey Halphstein Suppose you have new posts from ten communities but are in a situation where you only want to read the posts from two of those communities. If you have a feed with all new posts from all communities, you'll have to look for the relevant posts. With MeWe's solution, you'll be able to navigate to those posts almost instantly.

  8. Jannik Lindquist In G+ there's a setting to turn off posts from selected communities from appearing in our home feed. It wouldn't be a problem if MeWe has that.
