If anyone is interested I run a popular Mastodon instance. It's one of the top english Mastodon servers for a few months now. Its open-source, decentralized, and the network already has several million users.

Jeffrey Phillips Freeman Good to know, thanks. Also if anyone is interested in coding a google plus experience (UX) around ActivityPub please let me know. My hope is that there will be more different services which can speak to each other (and to Mastodon) – personally I build a decentralized CMS and want to build a foundation around that.
