So it's not for me then. I have an account in one of the pods since 2011 around the same time of G+ arrival but I chose not to stay as a protest because the dev somehow refused to implement post-editing for ridiculous reasons.
Don Krypton Why? Post-editing is an important feature for me. I'm not trying to make it complicated. If it's not there I'll just move on and look elsewhere.
Right - Diaspora is off my list. Altho perhaps now they will add features, as Feedly did when Google Reader died. Still are adding features, which we can request.

ReplyDeleteHalfey Halphstein : That's a bit too much drama for a rather small reason, isn't it?

ReplyDeleteI expect that this huge migration wave will drive improvements to the open alternatives.
ReplyDeleteMathias Kussinger : Absolutely. I'm sure, they will try to make it as comfortable as possible for G-Plussers.
ReplyDeleteMathias Kussinger I dearly hope so.
ReplyDeleteDiaspora* has not just no edit feature, it also lacks an equivalent to circles (where you can put people in more than one).
EDIT: I was mistaken, you can add more than one aspect to people.
But you still can't edit posts or comments, like I just did here ;-)
ReplyDeleteno editing? I'll wait and see.
ReplyDeleteDiana Studer Been waiting since 2011....
