I would recomment it, but it would need a degree of "BUY IN" for the EV community.

In many ways MINDS is today, very similar to what G+ was like (In terms of User Enthusiasm) before the wave of Dumbed-Down Dickheads arrived here !
TO everyone trying to petition google to do something. A petition won't stop the closure. The only way is to actually contact the board of directors or stockholders (good luck with both of those.) Google is now likely under congressional eyeball, and keeping this service up continues the service which was compromised. Do not forget, Google sat on the hack for seven months. What else are they willing to do to keep things "neat?"
William Johnston But it can clarify that there are a lot of people who are showing interest in the closure not happening. And do you have any sources that back up what you're claiming about "congressional eyeball"? Where is that coming from?

Lots of us would pay to maintain this service. I would hope that Google would consider that as a way to keep G+ going.
