After playing a bit this weekend, I think it may fit my need.

  1. Oh, god, no. Google Groups is nothing more than the sad, moldering remains of Usenet (for those old enough to remember Usenet), and it's a graveyard of spam and hate.

    Granted there are groups like that - but you can build you own groups that fit your style -after all, even the Google Product Help Forums are mostly Google Groups. :)
