This was probably one of the biggest missteps Google did with G+ when they essentially forced the G+ account on people. But that should have been a sign about how badly they wanted to get more people onto the system. It felt too forced.
Kerem Gogus Nothing. Well, you'll want to download all of your posts and comments via Google Takeout before G+ shuts down, but that's up to you.
It would probably be a good idea to establish an online presence somewhere else before G+ goes, though. You don't have to delete your G+ account to do that.
John Phillips Well, I will get help from my friends. On fb I have over 3.000 followers worldwide and we will all stay connected. Time will tell where and how to migrate if there is still a free internet and free speech in the future. Since april 2018 I discovered G+ and really loved it!

ReplyDeleteYeah I believe this community is for people who wants to migrate eventually, not those who wants to leave immediately.
ReplyDeleteHalfey Halphstein I suspect that s/he's very confused, and that English is not his/her first language. Either that, or he/she is a troll.
ReplyDeleteCan it be done on smartphone?
ReplyDeleteOr do I need a computer?
I stay too.
Kathrin Pohl Good question? whenever things get difficult i always use a PC

ReplyDeleteWhat if I wait till G+ is terminated instead of deleting it?
