Leo Vendler i've heard several people say that "they're working on" adding post/comment editing but in another post an early diaspora adopter reported that the platform's devs have been saying that since he joined in 2011. Most of us aren't willing to wait 6 months while they figure out how to add editing to their distributed platform (it's not a trivial problem to solve for decentralized platforms).
They are working in it. The fact that they are willing to work on things and are calling for developers to help is good.
Oddly enough, I have been making fewer typos that usual so have less need for correcting.
There are things like not being able to reply to or like on a specific comment, citing someone is a bit spotty, and no translation, but it is early days and they are listening and responding to queries and suggestions.
There are plenty of how-tos and info of you need it. Every platform has a learning curve.

Pluspora looks useable. Added you there.
ReplyDeleteJust wait until you want to edit something you've posted on pluspora... then it gets awkward :/.
ReplyDeleteYes Stephan Beal that's annoying. Maybe the influx of new developers can fix that
