It was thanks to conversations on G+ that I found Feedly to replace Google Reader.
One of the good things about G+ was stepping out of my filter bubble - so not remotely interested in moving everyone I follow to somewhere new.
But a fresh start? Maybe.

For the first few years, breaking out of the bubble was relatively easy, but for the last couple of years, its been harder to find more mutual interest contacts.
ReplyDeleteI've just joined pluspora.com - pluspora (mjb@pluspora.com), a Diaspora instance seemingly favoured by many G+ emigres. I find its look and feel much nicer than Mastodon, where I've had accounts for several months.
